free helicopter flight simulators?

Hi guys,

Are there any free helicopter simulators available? If not, what is the best flight simulator software around these days?

I think its obvious these simulators are worth their investment, considering even a small mistake can cost you a few hundred bucks hehe. They key I believe is to train your mind to make quick responses...

(I'm thinking of buying a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 heli possibly).

I was just looking into some flight simulators myself, here is what I came up with:

The FMS is good sim and you can upload all kinds of models for it. with the editor you can change the phisics of the models easy. And use you own TX or by one for cheap.

I just purchased Real Flight R/C flight simulator (by Great Planes) as everyone suggests to purchase a SIM before trying to fly a real heli. There is an upfront cost for buying a simulator ofcourse (about $200) but in the end it will pay itself back many times over in saved repair bills hehe.
